專欄(3)- 攻略本

最近香港人好像惹上了一種奇怪的風潮︰追看長篇電視劇之前要先讀熟雜誌的劇情預告;報紙娛樂版宣傳即將上畫電影的內容,卻連結局都說穿了;玩電腦遊戲要拿著具細無遺的攻略本;去旅行前閱讀大量的旅遊書和雜誌,未上飛機已先「紙上旅遊」了一次……總之生活上的一切,大家都渴望「攻略」,預知一切,「零意外」直達終點。
這樣子的生活,驚喜到了哪裡?
更令人擔心的是︰習慣了接受一個「預設的世界」,習慣了由別人提供的「遊戲規則」,一旦遇上「規則」以外的問題,卻已失去了自行找尋解決方法的能力。
我很懷疑︰這種傾向是不是跟我們的教育制度和公開考試方式有些關係呢?課程範圍、模擬考卷、歷屆試題、補習天書的標準答案……是不是有點似曾相識的感覺?……

From project management point of view, 「零意外」is good as this implies proper "planning" and things can then happen according to the original objectives.
So whether its good or not depends on "objectives".

Well, 意外 can mean 2 things: accident, or surprise.
Nobody want accidents, that's true.
But life with no surprises? That's bad too.

我倒是覺得現今教育系統的產品的應變能力和彈性都很有問題...
